A writer for Comedy Central's Indecision2008 and 23/6, and winner of the Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy, Jeff Kreisler has his own critically-acclaimed political comedy tour (Comedy Against Evil), syndicated humor column (Funny Money), and book deal with Harper Collins (Get Rich Cheating).  He is executive editor of the parody sensation "My Wall Street Journal," (from folks at The Daily Show, The Onion, Monty Python, and Spinal Tap), creator of a successful multimedia live-sitcom (The Americans), recently performed with the major US Presidential candidates, is in the staff and cast of the new project from the creator of The Daily Show (Shoot The Messenger), had hit shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and Glasgow International Comedy Festivals, has been featured on the BBC, BBC-America, and Current TV, as well as CBS, NPR, and Sirius radio networks, went to Princeton, Exeter, and Virginia Law, was an all-league college football player, taught English in Russia, started a non-profit dedicated to at-risk youth, plays mediocre blues on the alto sax, has lived in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, and D.C., and, most of all, loves both asparagus and run-on sentences.

"Jeff Kreisler is a heavy hitter - he has won the Bill Hicks Spirit Award and looks like George Clooney, but sweatier. His hour holds some of the smartest political material around. One of the things that makes Kreisler fascinating is his unashamed love for America; he just hates what has been done to it. The final section… may be the most powerful description of the past few years of US history you'll hear..."             - Kate Copstick, The Scotsman

"A highlight"    - The New York Times

"With slick and witty poise he mixes wry observation on current affairs with quirky bouts of surrealism to create a politically charged set." - Three Weeks

"His comedy is fluent and accomplished, delivered with energy and enthusiasm"  - Fest Mag

"Jeff Kreisler is a bit of an optimist... Political comedy may not change the world, but it's the possibility that exposing a little bit of hypocrisy will keep people engaged that keeps Kreisler and other politically and socially motivated comics going."  - The Boston Globe

"A genuinely engaging performer... he is clearly a funny, smart man, with a lot to offer."  - EdFest Magazine

"A sweet-faced cherub with dark eyes that promise all manner of chaos... Kreisler changes the pace a bit with a slightly demented, extremely animated set "    - San Francisco Chronicle

"Funny and on-fire Jeff Kreisler followed… injecting some powerful and pointed political barbs on both sides. With wild, dark eyes and a disarming grin..." - San Francisco Herald

"A welcome reminder of a time when comedy cut a lot closer to the issues of the day than most comics now dare." - Dallas Morning News

"He tore into politics, race and religion in a similar style to Hicks, but with his own personal slant and some very acute and funny observations... This is one show that will have you laughing from start to finish and is probably one of the best comedy shows at the Fringe..."         - Fresh Air at The Festival

"Great stuff. Very funny. I wrote some of that down"   - United States Senator Tom Harken

"Kreisler's comedy style had a wonderful, dark theatrical approach"              - Theater2k.com

"Jeff's act was thought provoking, edgy, and quite hilarious. We're definitely asking him back next year because he had all of us on the floor laughing for an entire hour." - Georgetown Univ.

"You were hysterically funny, witty, and a breath of fresh air ..."       - Colgate University

"Professional, highly entertaining, engaging, informative, and extremely funny..."  - Executive Director, World Affairs Council of Northern CA

"Critic's Choice"    - San Francisco Bay Guardian

"Don't Miss..."       - Time Out New York

"If tragedy concerns the necessarily disastrous condition of human experience, (then) comedy by nature involves the changing, the growing, the improvable in that experience." - Lauter, "Theories of Comedy." See also, Gallaghar, "Watch Me Bash This Melon!"
