A writer for Comedy Central's Indecision2008 and winner of the Bill Hicks Spirit Award for Thought Provoking Comedy, Jeff Kreisler has his own critically-acclaimed political comedy tour (Comedy Against Evil), syndicated business humor column and video (Funny Money), and a sweet book deal with Harper Collins to write the satire Get Rich Cheating. He recently performed with the major US Presidential candidates, is in the staff and cast of the new show from the creator of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Shoot The Messenger), had a 5-star show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and was just invited to the Glasgow International Comedy Fest. He went to Princeton, Exeter, and Virginia Law School, has performed on TV and radio networks, was an all-league football player, taught English in Russia, started a non-profit dedicated to at-risk youth, plays mediocre blues on the alto sax, lives in New York City, misses San Francisco, Boston, and D.C., and, most of all, loves asparagus.

"A welcome reminder of a time when comedy cut a lot closer to the issues of the day than most comics now dare." - Dallas Morning News

"Kreisler tore into politics, race and religion in a similar style to Hicks, but with his own personal slant and some very acute and funny observations. This is one show that will have you laughing from start to finish and is probably one of the best comedy shows at the Fringe..." - Fresh Air at the Festival

"A capacity audience laughed throughout an hour of excellent comedy... Jeff Kreisler does clever, well-presented political stuff..." - The Scotsman

"The highlight of this all-American evening was final act Kreisler, who, with slow, dry rigour, pulled apart America..."    - Three Weeks

"Dark eyes that promise all manner of chaos... Kreisler changes the pace a bit with a slightly demented, extremely animated set that attacks everything..." - San Francisco Chronicle

"A highlight." - The New York Times

"If tragedy concerns the necessarily disastrous condition of human experience, (then) comedy by nature involves the changing, the growing, the improvable in that experience." - Lauter, "Theories of Comedy." See also, Gallaghar, "Watch Me Bash This Melon!"
